Note
What a fresh wallet hides, and what stays public
01
What a fresh launch wallet does
Keeps launch spending off your main wallet
The launch wallet pays for the token, signs the launch and makes the dev buy. Your main wallet never pays for or signs a launch transaction. It is named as the coin's creator, though: see below.
Keeps each launch separate
Every token has its own wallet with its own history, instead of every launch piling up on one address.
Limits what's at risk
A launch wallet only holds what you sent for that one launch. Nothing else in your main wallet is ever in it.
Still ties every launch to you
Every launch is approved by your main wallet and listed on your Signature, so your track record is complete.
02
What it doesn't do
It doesn’t hide who created the coin
Your main wallet is recorded on-chain as each coin's creator, so its creator fees go straight to you. pump.fun and block explorers show it publicly.
It doesn’t hide that a launch is yours
That's the point of a Signature. Your profile publicly lists every token you've launched, its address and its launch wallet.
It doesn’t make funding untraceable
The transfer that funds a launch wallet is public. If you send it from your main wallet, another wallet you use, or an exchange, anyone can connect the two.
It doesn’t hide leftover returns
Sending leftover SOL or tokens back to your main wallet is a public transfer between the two addresses.
It doesn’t beat blockchain analysis
Timing, amounts, shared contacts and trading patterns can connect wallets even without a direct transfer.
It doesn’t hide anything from Ledgerline
We create and hold the launch wallets, so we know which main wallet each one belongs to.
03
Every way your wallets can be connected
| What happens | Connects | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Funding a launch | Your wallet or exchange → launch wallet | Public. Anyone can link the sender to the launch wallet. |
| Your Signature | Your profile → each launch wallet and token | Public on purpose. Shown on your profile. |
| Approving a launch | Main wallet → launch | Your profile shows the main wallet that approves every launch. |
| Coin creator | Main wallet → each coin | Public. pump.fun and the chain show your main wallet as the creator. |
| Returning leftovers | Launch wallet → main wallet | Public. Directly links the two wallets. |
| Your patterns | Timing, amounts, who you trade with | Public data that analysis tools can match up. |
04
Who holds the launch wallet
Ledgerline creates each launch wallet and stores its key encrypted on our servers. The key is never sent to your browser. We only use it for things you approve with your main wallet: launching that token, and sending leftovers back to your main wallet.
While funds sit in a launch wallet, we hold them for you. Send only what the launch needs, and bring leftovers home when you’re done. How the keys are protected.
